Investment Management
Some clients prefer to build wealth over time, investing conservatively and protecting their gains as they grow. Others are comfortable with bold moves in the market, taking on higher risk and proportionately higher rewards. Regardless of their risk tolerance, our clients look to us to help them build and retain the wealth they've accumulated.
Advance and Protect
Advance and Protect is the philosophy that drives our day-to-day investment decisions. We use customized strategies that seek to Advance clients’ portfolios in bull markets and Protect them in bear markets. When this philosophy is implemented, the results can be quite gratifying.
The Basics of Fact-based Investing
Fact-based investing is the approach we use to make specific investment selections. People don’t always act rationally and markets don’t always behave logically—which makes accurate predictions impossible. Fact-based investing “pre-decides” the action that will be taken in the future based on prevailing market conditions. This disciplined, rules-based decision-making process removes the negative impacts of emotion and prediction on long-term investment performance.
Market trends are created by the changing relationship between supply of, and the demand for, stocks and bonds in global financial markets. Performance—up or down—is more likely to continue than to reverse at any given point. We collect large amounts of supply-and-demand data daily and analyze it to identify short, intermediate, and long-term trends. This enables us to identify specific thresholds that signal the potential start of bull or bear markets.
Isn’t that market timing? We believe that nobody can accurately identify the top or the bottom of a given market cycle. However, trend data are combined with many other factors to create our disciplined, robust investment process that has rewarded our clients well.
We can share many more details—and we love sharing. Meet with us and let us show you why our clients have confidence in our process.
